Frustrated with speed

Poor service when traveling or camping. The speed is disappointing and I too feel like I have dial-up sometimes. I'm looking fore something better.

Anywhere I went, the Novatel never worked. Also, I tried another device and it still was bad. Personally, I think it's the service.

Not so Impressed

I.ve had this for going on 18 months now, and sadly im not so impressed with the performance. They claim for the internet speeds to be comparable with cable speeds, not so much. Im thinkin more like dial up. When i click on stuff, or am downloading things, i like the speed to be there.... with this system it is defiantly not. It honestly took me 12 hours to download the new version of microsoft office 2010 off the internet. they quoted the download to take 45 mins on the website. Sorry but im actually canceling early.

Thin USB Option, Great signal.

For those with USB size issues, the device should ship with a short flexible gooseneck extension in the package. Simply plug that into the USB port and the device into that, then just flex it up and out of the way.

I get great reception with this device, and appreciate the fact it has an external antenna port so that I can use an external antenna to boost the signal in fringe areas.

Thinner

I would like to see the unit be thinner so it does not tke up 2 USB slots. Is there anyway to make the unit to be installed in the PC so it does not have to be plugged in to the USB??

like it

Easy to install. Good reception throughout the US on our recent trip WI to TX to AZ and back. If it was just a little thinner, wouldn't take up two USB slots on my laptop.
