when i first got the phone, i loved it. after the first few months i accidentally dropped it and then it started working terribly. it takes way too much time to send a message and sometimes freezes up in the process of it. it takes forever to shut off and forever to start back up. i think they should recall the phone and replace it with a better one free of charge! this is seriously rediculous.

Really cute phone was what first attracted us. Started having probs w/in 6 mos. which got worse & worse w/time. Barely made it to contract change time. Would just not send or recieve texts for no reason. Also calls. Not reliable or durable. Very frustrating

Not good.

It takes 10-30 seconds to load even the conversations, and a few seconds for most everything else. I just ended up typing messages by memorization of how the phone is set up, and waited for it to catch up with me once I was done typing. They keys are good, if you are a texter, and don't mind small keys. This phone was not made for calls. It seems like a pretty basic one to me. It is cute, but you need a lot of patience with it.

Bad!

I hate this phone so much! It is very very slow it takes usually 3-30 seconds to get to something! Also if i am on the phone i have to click the end button a few times for it to hang up. And the keyboard is really small so it makes it harder to text. I wish i would of taken it back during the 30 days. I am embaressed to take out my phone while i am with friends. i really hate this phone!

I got this phone as a loaner two days ago. the second day i had it it froze. from what i can tell, if you plan on texting a lot you should delete ever message after reading it or the phone will become bogged down with messages. This phone seems to run the same OS as the QA-30(hint) with all the same bugs. The touch pad is very unreliable and the battery lasts less than a day. don't get this phone. get either the LG Ellipse or Script.

This phone is awful

This is by far the worst phone I have ever had. I have only had it three months and it has been having problems since the beginning. The joystick gets stuck all the time, it won't stop when you are in the conversations trying to read a new text. it just scrolls thru until you hit reply or end, half the time I can't read new messages. I get messages from one person but when I open it up it is from someone else. Sometimes I get the same message over and over again, but in the conversation it only shows up once. I triedd to take it back but they just say I have too many things saved in the phone. So I erased all my messages & moved all my photos and it still does it.

Pass on it!

I have had this phone for almost 8 months. Looking back I would never have gotten the darn thing! The buttons are horrible especially when trying to dial a number. If you try to voice dial it doesn't work. The scroll pad to move up and down likes to spaz out, which at first was different now its just plain annoying. I am glad my daughter literally flushed this phone. Since it is so ECO friendly I hope it gets ground up to make a better product. Do not buy.

Please don't buy this phone!!

I have had this phone for a few months. I have already needed a new battery. The phone freezes up all the time and shuts off by itself!!! Very irritating!!! I can't wait to upgrade next month, so I'm not even going to bother to get it fixed. The phone has been this way since the first few weeks of use. Very disappointing for a Motorola product. Save your money and buy something else!!!

I've had this phone for going on three months now. i have to say this is the first time i have ever gotten a crappy phone. this phone has a major delap on going into your applications which causes alot of mistakes you dont wanna do. When you text message theres a delay...not always but most of the time. I would not recommend this phone.

It's Okay..

I had this phone for about 3 weeks, after having a Samsung Freeform. This phone was okay, not the best. Slow software was the biggest downer. Plus, on more than one occasion, it completely froze on me; prompting me to remove the battery to restart it. Also, battery life was not amazing either. On a regular day (about 25 texts sent, 1 hour talk, no music played) I could go home with the battery almost dead. The touch button was different to get used to as well. All in all, it was okay to deal with, but I ultimately went back to my Freeform. I'd recommend this phone if you have some patience, and don't do a whole lot on your phone; otherwise I still highly recommend the Freeform :)

Grasp Review.

I've had my grasp for 3 weeks now, and for the most part like it. I love the size and light weitht, and all the features. Against it though is it's lag, it is quite slow to respond between screens. Also with internet service, I can not play music or video of the web. It's a cool little phone, with a big screen and full keyboard, but it is slow, and the touch sensitive main button, can be a pain. But for the price, it's an OK phone.

don't bother

I've had this phone for about three months now and I already want my old phone back. I switched from my razor that I had owned for two years. This phone was good for the first few weeks, then almost a day after the warranty it started freezing every few hours. Also this phone lags terribly, i have to wait almost twenty seconds to just send a message sometimes. Save up for something better.

a raised 5?
written by anonymous on

why would they raise the "5" key? they already raised the "F" key...just like a real keyboard. If in the dark you can't feel for the F key and then just move your thumb one key left to the 5 I don't know what to say

OK phone

I got this phone a couple days ago and so far I'm not too happy with it. I do not like the fact that the only way to find the numbers on the keyboard is to look at it- an indented or raised 5 would be very helpful. The F and J have a bump like on a computer keyboard but it is very hard to feel. The phone feels cheap. The keys are very small and their shape makes it hard to hit- you have to hit them just right. Not too crazy about the center key either. The phone just feels akward to me. The biggest problem is that the only reason I bought it is that Motorola's typically have the best reception and I live in a rural area. However- this phone is getting worse reception than my LG Script. Cellcom said there may be a problem with the tower. If reception does not improve I am taking the phone back. I can learn to deal with the other problems but reception is not optional.

Neat Phone
written by Beth on
August 23rd, 2010

I have had this phone for a few weeks and overall it is pretty neat. CONS: It has frozen up for me a few times which required me to turn it off. The touch pad for scrolling is neat but sucks if you have lotioned or slippery hands, then it doesn't recognize your finger. Sometimes it will freeze on menu icons. I have noticed that it has issues when you are under direct sun and try to use it. It takes quite some time for it to load up the compose screen for a new text message. The buttons are very close together and I hit more than one at a time when texting. Reception okay at my rural home (I believe the freezing may be a Cellcom operating system issue). PROS: looks very cool and has tons of features. Calendar, alarm features are great. Music played from it is very good quality. It is a phone that's easy to understand. It is one of the only phones that Cellcom offers that is able to take movies, which it does fairly well. Overall it's a decent phone, I'm going to keep it.

I got this phone yesterday. It is replacing my Razor. So far I like it alot. Very easy to use & texting is much easier. Pictures turn out nice. It has alot of nice features, reminders..alot more then I know how to use. It could use a few more ringtone choices & wallpaper backgrounds, but it will be easy to add more. With only having it for a day I am glad I made the change.
