In 2021, Congress created the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) to help eligible Americans obtain internet service by offering a monthly discount on the service for consumers. To date, this program has helped connect over 23 million households across rural, suburban and urban America. By making broadband more affordable, ACP keeps people connected to work, school, healthcare and more.
Currently, funding for ACP is set to run out without further Congressional action. Those benefiting from the ACP would lose their monthly support.
If the Affordable Connectivity Program is important to you, you can take action and urge Congress to extend the program for those who qualify. Visit this form to directly email your senators and representatives to encourage support of the Affordable Connectivity Program.
Cellcom is in communication with customers who could be impacted by upcoming changes. If you are an ACP participant and have questions, please contact our teams.
