Cellcom in the Community

At Cellcom, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in creating more than just a connection through technology; we’re dedicated to building stronger neighborhoods, fostering innovation, and driving meaningful change in this place we call home. From Northeast and Central Wisconsin to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we bring our vision to life by supporting local programs that make a real difference.

Giving Back to Create Impact

Every year, we invest in the future of our communities by supporting hundreds of local initiatives. Whether it’s providing funding, in-kind contributions, or technical support - we aim to touch as many lives as possible to uplift, educate, and inspire.

2025 Community Impact Report

How We Make a Difference

  • Championing Environmental Stewardship and Education

Sustainability is more than a goal, it’s a responsibility. That’s why we’ve partnered with local organizations through initiatives like our Green Gifts program. By recycling unwanted devices and re-investing those funds into sustainability projects, we’re not just protecting the environment, we’re cultivating the next generation of advocates who will keep our communities vibrant for years to come. We donated $30,000 in 2025 to 29 different organizations.

  • Community Spotlight - Celebrating Non-Profits with UW-Green Bay

Cellcom is a proud sponsor of UW-Green Bay athletics, and instead of handing out a traditional, branded item to fans, we used our sponsorship to give back to local non-profits. We distributed a "donation dollar" to each fan as they entered the arena and then had them donate that dollar to one of three non-profits by putting the donation in the “bucket” of the non-profit at a table just inside the doors. This idea truly reflects our commitment to giving back and being a force for good and allows fans to know they’re helping an organization that supports their community.

  • Advocating for Underserved Communities

In 2025, we helped bring high-speed Internet to the Oneida Nation Reservation. This project was a significant achievement, bringing essential, reliable connectivity to homes and businesses throughout the Oneida community. Our teams worked closely with the Oneida Nation to engineer and deploy this service, which utilizes Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology to bridge the digital divide. This collaboration is a powerful example of our commitment to strengthening the rural and tribal communities we serve.

  • Strengthening Community Engagement

Compassion starts with action, and the Cellcom family is always ready to lend a hand. Our employees are encouraged to volunteer in their community, and each employee can dedicate up to eight hours a year as paid volunteer time. Through our Givin’ A Little Back Program, Cellcom matches qualified charitable donations with corporate contributions, doubling the impact. We aim to champion our employees’ passions and give back to the organizations our employees donate time and monetarily.

Our People, Their Passion

A Force for Good

Nic Beining

My daughter Maci, a junior at Green Bay Preble High School, is passionate about volleyball. I began supporting the Preble Girls Volleyball Booster Club during her freshman year and soon took on a leadership role. Due to socio-economic diversity in our district, the school board limits extracurricular funding, prohibiting us from requiring families to pay dues for essentials like travel, meals, equipment, or additional coaching. Unlike many of our competitors, we rely on community support to meet these needs. Cellcom’s generous sponsorship helps bridge this gap, enhancing opportunities and experiences for all our student-athletes.

Sarah Bootz

I love volunteering at my church (St. Mark Ministries) because it allows me to serve with purpose and joy. Planning and running kids camp lets me help create meaningful, fun experiences where kids feel welcomed and valued, while volunteering on Wednesday nights through cross training allows me to build relationships and invest in the next generation. I’m also incredibly grateful that Cellcom supports and shares my passion for giving back, through their volunteer program, I’m able to track and submit my hours, receive a donation from Cellcom, and then give it directly back to my church. It makes serving even more meaningful knowing my time is supported and multiplied.

Nicole Pidgeon

Volunteering with the Wisconsin Rapids High School Figure Skating Team is deeply meaningful to me. My oldest child has been part of the club for the past 10 years, and watching her growth alongside the growth of the organization has been incredibly rewarding. As a club without school funding, the team relies on volunteers and fundraising to succeed. This year, I served as Team Manager, organizing fundraisers, schedules, and our home competition, which draws over 1,000 attendees. Cellcom’s support of my volunteer work and its donation to the team made a real difference, helping keep the program accessible and successful. I’m proud to work for a company that values community involvement and empowers employees to give back. Cellcom’s commitment allows me to make a positive impact both as a mom and as an employee.
