What if I recently moved to Wisconsin and my number cannot be transferred to Cellcom?
If your number cannot be transferred to Cellcom’s network, you can still participate in the Switch and Save Program if the name and/or address on your previous bill and new bill match.
What steps do I need to get reimbursed?
- Complete, sign and date the Contract Payoff Reimbursement Request Form.
- Include a copy of the Cellcom store receipt.
- Provide a copy of the entire final competitor wireless bill with early termination fee charges or final retail/equipment installment payment circled for each line. If the final bill cannot be accessed, or early termination fee or device charges have been paid off prior to switching to Cellcom, a copy of a previous bill and a receipt showing the payment within 30 days will be accepted. Please note that taxes and other fees charged on termination fees are excluded and will not be reimbursed. Additionally, any costs affiliated with a lease program that requires that you turn in the device, will not be reimbursed with this promotional offer.

How long does it take to get reimbursed?
Credits take six-eight weeks after receipt of the reimbursement form for application of credit(s) to your Cellcom bill.
Do you pay my previous carrier for the charges?
Cellcom does not pay your previous carrier. Cellcom reimbursed the charges via account credits.
Do I need to trade in my phone to participate in the Switch and Save Program?
A trade-in device is NOT required, but if you do want to trade in your previous device, you can through Cellcom’s Buyback program. Click here or stop at any store for details.
What if I already have a Cellcom account? Can I have someone join my plan and still get reimbursed for their charges?
New lines added to an already-existing Cellcom account are eligible if all the requirements are met. See above for complete details.
Will Cellcom cover a lease purchase option?
Cellcom does NOT cover lease-purchase options. The best option is to turn that device back in to your previous carrier. Cellcom only covers early termination/cancellation fees and/or equipment installment balances owed.

Activation at time of service with Flex agreement and credit approval required on smartphone or basic phone. Tablets, Mobile Broadband, Connected Devices etc. are not covered. Advance Pay services are not eligible for this offer. Payout Offer available to new Cellcom Business or Consumer lines on new or existing accounts. Must port in number to Cellcom.
Accounts requiring a credit deposit are not eligible. Account must have been deactivated for greater than 60 days. Phone must remain active on the line of service for 15 months. Accounts with more than 10 lines are not eligible. If the customer cancels a ported line, the ETF credit issued to that line will be charged back to their account. Account must be in good standing without any outstanding past-due balances to receive credits. Not redeemable for cash. To apply for credits, you must submit a copy of your original dated Cellcom store receipt, a completed reimbursement form along with the entire copy of your last wireless bill from your previous wireless carrier that includes the charge for the early termination fee on each line. Cellcom has the right to request a copy of your original service agreement. Interofficed copies, or facsimiles will not be accepted. All reimbursement forms must be postmarked/emailed within 60 days of activation. Reimbursement forms that are counterfeited, mechanically reproduced, altered or tampered with are void. Cellcom is not responsible for inaccurate, incomplete, illegible, lost, damaged, postage due, misdirected or late reimbursement forms or for any services provided by third parties. All materials received become the property of Cellcom and cannot be returned. Credit is non-transferable. Cellcom does not cover Lease Device Purchase Amounts. Please allow six-eight weeks after receipt of reimbursement form for application of credit(s) on your Cellcom bill(s). This offer is for end-users only; dealers or carriers are ineligible. Cellcom cannot apply your credit unless you accurately and legibly complete all above information fields on the reimbursement form. Offer open to legal residents of the United States only.
