Non-Certified Devices

To determine if your device is certified for use on Cellcom’s network, input your device’s IMEI into our compatibility checker. If your device is not certified, you may still be able to use the device on Cellcom’s network but additional setup may be required and functionality is not guaranteed. In these cases we will only be able to provide customer support for SIM setup, not device functionality. Please review the following information to help you determine if your device is compatible.

  • For optimal connectivity and performance you should check the device manufacturer website resources to determine what frequencies or bands your device supports.
  • To connect to the cellular network, your device must support both our network technology (5G, 4G LTE) and the band (frequency).
  • Devices that are not certified for Cellcom’s network will need to be manually setup using the APN settings in the next FAQ.

Cellcom supported network technologies and Bands/Frequencies

Technology Supported Bands & Frequencies
5G+ Band n261 (28 GHz)
5G Band n2 (1900MHz)

4G LTE Band 2 (1900MHz)
Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz)

Band 13 (700 MHz)
Band 48 (3500MHz)
Band 66 (1700/2100 MHz)
Band 71 (600 MHz)

Other factors contributing to your device and network experience.

Partial Compatibility – Some devices may not be compatible with all technologies, frequencies or services.

  • Your device may not support all network technologies and frequencies we use.
  • This can lead to reduced coverage and slower data speeds.
  • We recommend enabling Wi-Fi Calling to improve indoor connectivity.

Incompatible Devices – Some devices, especially those originally purchased in foreign countries, may not be compatible with Cellcom’s network.

  • These devices lack access to essential network technologies and frequencies.
  • You may experience limited coverage and reduced service quality.
  • For optimal performance, please review your device manufacturer's resources to confirm the supported frequencies/bands.

Software Updates – It is important to check for software updates before AND after activating your device with Cellcom.

  • Devices no longer supported by manufacturers won’t receive updates.
  • This can affect compatibility with your favorite apps and Cellcom tools like myCellcom, Visual Voicemail, etc.

The following is information that you will need to input into a device for it to function on Cellcom’s network.
