What payment methods are accepted for Advance Pay plans?
Cash, Cellcom gift cards, credit cards or debit cards are accepted payment methods.
Where can I make a payment on my service for Advance Pay plans?
Payments are accepted in person at Cellcom retail locations and agent locations during business hours. Payments also can be made over the phone by calling Customer Care (800) 236-0055, on my.cellcom.com or using the myCellcom app.
How much do I have to pay to get started?
You must make an initial minimum payment of at least $15 and possibly more depending on the plan you choose. Don't forget about adding extra funds for charges like directory assistance calls. Charges for equipment and activation fees may apply.
How will I know what my balance is?
Balances can be checked by visiting my.cellcom.com, using the myCellcom app, stopping into a retail or agent location or calling Customer Care at 800-236-0055.
Do you check my credit?
No. Any information taken is to fill legal requirements but no credit will be run.
Are phone prices and the selection of phones for Advance Pay Plans different than what you advertise?
It's possible that the pricing of phones available with Advance Pay will differ from what is advertised in the media. The prices featured in advertising are often for customers entering into monthly Flex Agreements.
Can I add more data to my account before my next replenishment date?
Yes. Customers on the Advance Pay Talk/Text Plan are now able to choose between different data options when adding more data before their next replenishment date.
Where can I go to add more data to my Advance Pay Talk/Text account?
You can choose from three options to add more data to your Advance Pay Talk/Text account. Go into any Cellcom Retail store, call our Customer Care team at (800) 236-0055, or on my.cellcom.com.
How do I receive 1GB of Bonus Data on Advance Pay?
Customers on the Advance Pay Talk/Text Plan will earn 1GB of bonus data for signing up and maintaining recurring payments.
Will the bonus data roll over to the next month?
No, the 1GB of bonus data will expire at the end of each month.
Will my data speeds be slowed with Unlimited Data?
Yes. When smartphones reach 18GB or 6GB per line per month, data speeds will be reduced until the next replenishment date. To alleviate speed reductions, it's good to use WiFi whenever possible.
My replenishment date restarted, but my speeds still seem to be slow. Why?
At the beginning of each new replenishment date, power cycle/restart your device or enable then disable airplane mode to resolve the issue.
What is Advance Pay Keep Your Data?
Keep Your Data is an included feature on the Advance Pay Talk/Text Plan (1GB and 3GB data packages only) that automatically carries over unused data to the next month. When you use less data one month, you can use more data the following month without paying more.
Who is eligible for Advance Pay Keep Your Data and is there a monthly charge?
Keep Your Data for Advance Pay is available only on the Advance Pay Talk/Text plan (1GB and 3GB data packages only). Keep Your Data is an included feature, so there is no additional charge to you. No other plans are eligible for Keep Your Data at this time.
When do I begin using my Advance Pay Keep Your Data allowance?
Customers will use their initial data bucket first before using Keep Your Data.
When do you lose Advance Pay Keep Your Data?
Advance Pay Keep Your Data will be forfeited with any plan changes, after 30 days, or if a customer does not make an on-time payment.
How many lines can I have on a plan?
That depends on the plan you are subscribed to. Please contact Customer Care to review this information with you.
How long do I get to keep my unused data?
Advance Pay Keep Your Data expries after 30 days or with any plan change.
